Here is an update on Ava for all of you who have been asking!
Ava is learning so much and she copies everything we do. She bows her head when we pray. She is playing pretend more and more like pretending to talk on the phone, give her doll a bottle, carrying her "purse" around, dusting and washing things and reading.
She loves to cuddle and will put her head on our shoulder when we ask for a hug. Talk about melting your heart! She is basically a sweetheart.
Also, she loves it when we ooh and aah over her and eats it right up! She is walking really well now too and toddles around non stop.
Ava is having some separation anxiety lately and cries when I leave the room, give her to someone else or put her down. It's not all the time so it may be that she doesn't feel good (teething). She is also still waking up at least a couple times a night but usually (not always) goes back to sleep quickly so I can't complain too much. That's about all for now!

Love the pictures - THANK you for posting them. The yogurt pic is fabulous - and I love how she feeds her "babies". And wise woman for making dusting fun at this age! I cannot believe how big she is getting - it's shocking! Thanks again for posting.
"You are not alone".....Nicholas too is experiencing both the seperation anxiety AND the teething!! We have heard that it is common for children at their ages to experience the anxiety, so that is somewhat comforting :). Ava is sooo cute, and appears to be progressing well! It is heartwarming to see that she is very happy in her home! Keep up the updates coming!!

Just catching up with blogs of families who are home (ya'll don't update very often). We've been waiting 12 weeks since a region assignment to travel... hope soon.
Ava is just precious and has really blossomed since being home. I can't believe how she's grown! And walking! Enjoy your lovely little girl!

I just saw all the wonderful pictures of precious Ava! I haven't been able to be online for a while so that's why I only saw these now! I usually try and check your blog every day! I especially love the picture of Aunt Yvonne with Ava! I can see how HAPPY she is!!!
And Ava is so cute in her purple dress and with purse, of course! And thank you for all the updates! What a wonderful worshiper of Jehovah; bowing head for prayer and with Bible!!
